And the last ship meme! Template once again here. (edit: I forgor to mention but mine is edited a little!)
This time it's ancient trio time~ ShB/Endwalker spoilers and lots of rambling under the cut
I'll start with mentioning that Eleos is Azem and Hawu'li is his shard. I think I've posted what he vaguely looks like in form of a picrew pic buuuut uh, this time you get a quick little scribble of his mask I drew instead.
Height and age - yeah no, I did not want to fuck with trying to choose anything for them since ancient world works weirdly. They are all of similar ages and fairly young, Hades has just aged a lot due to having to deal with his husbands lol. He's tallest of the three, with Eleos being just a tiny bit shorter than Hyth.
Jock - game keeps saying Emet is "the greatest mage" but honestly I could not mark him as nerd when he swings that huge drk sword so effortlessly in Ktisis. So to me he is also physically strong. Hyth is nerd on account of working basically a desk job and complaining how he doesn't usually fight, even if using a bow logically makes him somewhat buff too.
Affection - Hades is tsun so no pda. Hyth is used to this and knows not to tease him too much. Eleos does not care and teases both of them mercilessly with his affection, regardless of where they are or who is watching.
Confessions - Hyth and Hades were an item even before meeting Eleos, and their thing started from Hades managing to voice his feelings (Hyth had known about them already, but wanted to hear him say it). With Eleos, they kinda confessed together, with Hyth once again pushing Hades to admit his feelings out loud. By this point Eleos has been saying he loves them both for like, literal months but somehow also never initiated anything? Even Hyth was kinda confused if it was more plationical or not lol.
Kiss - Hades kisses both of them first: Hyth during a really sweet and romantic moment as teens, and Eleos to shut him up. Which surprisingly worked, as Eleos just kinda froze and was unable to process any thoughts for like half an hour. It has not worked ever since.
Propose - Hades is the most easily jealous one, so he really wanted something to seal the fact that they were all bound to eachother. All 3 have matching earring. Eleos also got a tiny magic circle drawn on his ringfinger - Emet's magic, made to contain both his and Hyth's essence to help calm Eleos down (he's strongly affected by feelings of others). It's usually invisible, but glows softly purple when touched.
Other stuff:
Hades and Eleos are both really stubborn so Hyth has to act as mediator between them
Hades first noticed Eleos from his soul (mix of orange and purple hues, like a really vibrant sunrise) which was so out of normal it got his attenttion in a big crowd (and Eleos did something really stupid right after so it really was unforgettable lol)
Eleos has a habit of just. Leaving in the middle of night if his wanderlust happens to hit. He's gotten really good at sneaking out and only leaving small "gone travelling, see you" note behind.
As a countermeasure, both Hyth and Hades sleep holding him really tight so he can't just dissappear to god knows where. Eleos doesn't seem to mind too much (but still manages to escape some nights)
All 3 spoil eachother so much but in completely different ways.
Emet overlooks so much of his husbands' mischief and no matter how busy, is always ready to give them his time if they want it
Hyth brings the other 2 interesting concepts from work as gifts
Eleos brings them whatever he find on his travels. He's especially good at picking things that pacify Hades' anger when he's done something stupid again.

Datin teen Sheldon head canons
i'll try my hardest guys
Dating Teen Sheldon Hcs
if science wasn't your best subject, he would definitely try to help you on it. but you're not the brightest person in the world so he gets angry quite often
taking care of CeeCee when Georgie and Mandy are in public!!
you'll be setting her down for a nap and Sheldon would just be standing in the doorway like "are you done yet 🧍‍♀️"
then when the two of you are watching star trek together (after various comments from you telling him you don't want to watch it) she starts crying and he gets super pissed
you try to help him pick out cute outfits but he refuses
you tell him to start wearing different shirts other than flannels all the time and he's like "i'm not taking any of YOUR opinions" and gave you the nastiest look ever
with that, arguments happen kinda often. he'll be way too focused on his studies in college and doesn't give you as much attention as you want
so you'll storm out of the room and hangout with Missy or something
but he doesn't realize you're gone until 2 hours later
and him being the stubborn ass he is won't apologize. he'll be like "why do i have to apologize for focusing on my studies" bc he just doesn't get it
and, knowing Sheldon, he doesn't show emotions a lot. that's also a pretty big argument starter
you go out of your way to show how much you love him and he's just like "ok thanks"
but at the end of the day, the two of you get over it.

hello, platonic aventurine with an in-debt teen reader?
a debt repaid
Tumblr media
synopsis - aventurine with an indebt teen
includes - aventurine
warnings - gn!teen!reader, fluff, slight angst??, wc - 528
Tumblr media
↪the ipc had many partners and clients across the vast galaxy, they are responsible for the economy across the entire cosmo afterall. and sometimes that was quite the inconvenience to the workers who were sent halfway across the cosmo to sort out dealings and, mainly, minor issues.
↪quite alot of those were to deal with debts. a common occurrence as sometimes people, or even entire planets, could no longer keep up the ipc's demands and quota's. as a result, the ipc would send a range of employees directly there to retrieve the payments or atleast strike a deal - one that always worked for the ipc.
↪stonehearts weren't normally dispatched for such reasons but either the situation was too important or nobody else was available. aventurine would still see no reason for hom being sent all the way across the galaxy to deal with a single person in debt.
↪ he'd excuse it of it had more importance - topaz was recently dispatched to solve an entire planets debt! however he wasn't exactly in the position to dispute with the ipc's demands and would begrudgingly make his way to deal with a single persons debt.
↪aventurine knows the struggles people can face in the early years of their life, so he became rather conflicted when he learnt the person in debt was you.
↪on one hand, he did have his job to do and not doing so would be a direct denial of orders and most likely would have consequences for him. but on the other, you were only a teenager trying your hardest.
↪you knew exactly what his appearance meant as soon as he told you he was from the ipc and all you could do was hope that he had atleast a little bit of sympathy for you. now normally you wouldn't resort to begging but you had heard of what happens to those in debt to the ipc.
↪it wasn't really begging, just a desperate plea that you just needed more time and you could only do so much at this point in your life. you couldn't tell but it was working.
↪your words only tore into his heart and he really would prefer to face the ipc's punishment than do his job. especially because you were young, you didn't need the ipc breathing down your neck for repayment.
↪aventurine would only make deals with people if it benefitted him, but right now he handed you a contract that worked for you and you only. he just really hoped that it'd pay of for the both of you in the future - a huge gamble that he wanted to work out for him and you.
↪you were incredibly grateful for the generous situation granted to you and couldn't thank him enough. although it scared you when aventurine showed up only a few days later, immediately assuming you were going to be placed into debt again.
↪aventurine visited you often and would tell you that he was only there to make sure that you could eventually pay off your debt. while that was partially true, he also wanted to make sure the ipc didn't send someone else to take away all you owned.
↪the day you finally payed off your debt to the ipc, you thanked aventurine personally. and that was all he needed. one of the greatest gambles he ever took and all he won was a thank you and the brightest smile he'd ever seen. the greatest reward.

What is love?
Warning: none
Genre: fluff
Pairing: Anton x reader
Tumblr media
Love. It was something you had been infatuated with since you were a child, ever since you saw your first romantic film. You were obsessed from then on, and as the years passed, you grew up wondering who you would fall in love with. What would they look like? What would they smell like? Would they think you were beautiful? Will it stay forever, as in fairy tales? You couldn't wait to grow up because you were so excited and ready for love. But, while you did so, you noticed people claiming to be in love and seeing them stab each other in the back, repeatedly shattering each other's hearts.
Is that what love is? Hurting each other?
Maybe love doesn't look as it does in movies. But you'd never know because you're in your late teens and haven't fallen yet. You desired for that adolescent love phase that everyone went through, something you'd remember for years to come. When will it happen? That question kept you awake at night as you watched romantic movies and shows and watched these characters fall in love. Maybe you weren't pretty enough, didn't get out enough, or were never destined to love or be loved. Perhaps this love thing was a hoax.
"So when are you getting a boyfriend?" That was a question you'd heard far too often for your comfort. You tried everything, changing your appearance, acting like the girls who got all the attention, even dating apps, but nothing worked. Even if you did get some attention, it wasn't the kind you were looking for; they wanted sex, while you wanted a relationship. Is that too much to ask?
As a result, you gave up. You were still a virgin in your twenties, had never had your first kiss, and had never been in a relationship. You had grown accustomed to being alone by this point, which was unfortunate. After seeing your friends get dumped and cheated on, you might have gotten lucky. But your heart yearned for someone to adore. Until you met him, that is. He was compassionate, soft-spoken, and considerate to those around him. You never expected someone like that to fall in love with you, yet he did. When he confessed to you, you didn't believe him at first and laughed in his face, believing it was a joke.
“You? You like me?” You let out a snort, “Anton please stop joking around.”
His timid smile had faded into a deep frown, and his puzzled eyes examined your face for an explanation. He assumed you liked him back, but he could be mistaken.
“I’m serious y/n, I like you.” You stood there dumb founded realizing he wasn’t joking.
Anton soon became your first boyfriend, and you quickly began to feel that feeling that everyone talked about, the feeling that you believed you'd never feel, the feeling that you felt was a lie. You fell hard and fast in love. Your heart would swell with excitement every time you thought of him, and a silly smile would appear across your lips. But you didn't mind since you were in love, and it had come as a complete surprise.
That's when you understood you can't rush a feeling, especially one as powerful as love.
You were certain he felt the same way because every time you looked at each other, his eyes twinkled and his ears turned the brightest shade of red. He'd grasp your hand and never want to let go, leaving soft kisses on your knuckles telling you how beautiful you were and how he never wanted you to leave his side.
Now, love wasn't easy, and it wasn't all rainbows and sunshine as the movies depicted, but they got one thing right, you would do anything for the one you were in love with. You were a fool in love because love made you a fool.
“I love you y/n” he smiled leaving a kiss on your forehead.
“I love you more Anton.”

THE SHERIFF
rick grimes x fem reader
Tumblr media
WARNINGS: age gap, reader is 22-23, mentions of cheating, still married rick, shane, season two era, soft smut, reader is able to consent, mentions of alcohol consumption
She had been a few years younger than the sheriff ,
by a few she meant there was just about 6 years difference between them, but in her eyes it wasn’t that much of a gap besides his wife was only a few years younger than him what would be the deal with adding on a few more years.
It was post apocalypse now and hadn't felt it ideal to judge people for their lively hood decisions because no matter what everyone around them had their secrets, they had their fetishes and they had their preferences whether big or small it didn't matter.
he had a wife and kid so of course it wasn’t ideal for her mind to even wander in that direction, it wasn't the brightest idea for her to develop a crush on him as the world was ending.
Yet again it wasn’t ideal that his wife had screwed his best friend just a few months after his supposed death. In y/n’s eyes it was wrong and utterly embarrassing on Loris behalf for being so stupid.
she could practically feel the tension waving off the three, the way Lori was trying to cover her history with the somewhat clueless Rick who had just learned the world was ending.
she had her own set of fantasies about him, she loved to watch as he was out training shooting with the members at the farm, the way that he was forceful but yet calm with each person.
she liked the fact that he was the group leader, the way he was able to keep them safe and solve their problems with that mind of his.
It always seemed to bring a set of butterflies inside of her when she saw him, she felt like the universe was forcing her to cross her legs to hide the pressure that was building up in her.
Carol noticed the way she'd look at him she noticed the longed hazed out glances, the way y/n had seemed to lose her words around him whenever he started to show her something.
well Daryl did to he noticed everything so it wasn't a shock that he had picked up on the obvious tension that he was sure the others should've noticed by now, but he was so silent he hadn’t even mentioned the solid tension between Rick and her.
he kept to himself on the hill, hunting and doing whatever the hell he seemed to do when he had all the god damn time in the world.
Carol had fondly mentioned it before when she could see the glimmer in her eyes every time she looked at the man but y/n shook it off claiming that she was just nervous of screwing up.
that she was afraid of being kicked from the group for a small mistake which was partially the truth but not the reason she couldn't keep her eyes off of the sheriff.
y/n had practically passed out as she watched him step out of the shower with a towel wrapped around his waist at the CDC building, the way the water was resting on his chest and the way his hair had been slicked back ever so perfectly.
it made her melt inside like she was a teen girl.
Carol had noticed the way y/n seemed to get so damn flustered over everything he did, or anything he said to her even just a small glance from his eyes set her off.
she mostly kept to her own business and never spoke about the anticipation between the two to the others, besides what the did in the shadows was their own business.
Now it was them left at the campfire while the others had been invited to sleep inside for the night, besides they were on watch so it was easier for them to sleep outside anyways.
y/n looked up at Rick who had been staring softly with his pinkie finger in his mouth nibbling on the thinly growing nail while his eyes seemed to be laced on her like bees to a hive.
She took a sip from her cup that had been filled with tea as a courtesy from nice blonde girl herself who was resting up inside the farm house way aways from them.
she felt the warm liquid slip down her throat before she spoke,
“Shouldn’t you keep an eye out for walkers? make sure we don't get another ambush?” She asked bringing the mug back up to her lips gulping down another sip licking her lips clean.
“Place is dead and it’s quiet no walkers are gonna be out here unless it’s stragglers”
rick spoke pulling his finger away from his mouth as he still seemed to stare at her, “why do you keep staring?” She asked trying to ignore the fact she seemed to like the way his eyes were sinking into her.
“i'm not staring” he replied watching as her eyes widened and she took another sip of her tea, he licked his lips reaching out to pull the mug away from her resting it down on the log next to him.
“don't you ever think about it? i mean the end of the world” She asked as she looked up at the sky watching as the stars glimmered brighter than she had ever seen in the city pre-apocalypse.
"i think about it all day" he took a swig of the water and watched as she took in a deep breath trying to find the right way to start a conversation about the age gap between them,
"is our age gap weird?" she asked suddenly and she felt the feeling of the question start to rush to her cheeks, it started to fill her up with the embarrassment of the foolish question.
“well no I don’t think so, it’s well about six years, maybe five when you turn twenty three next month” he smiled at her watching her place a smile on her face as she looked down trying to hide the raging blush that seemed to fill her entire face.
“You know my birthday?” She asked crossing her legs because she could feel the butterflies starting to churn back inside of her just from the subtle idea someone remembered something about her.
“I know pretty much everything, I’ve been asking the others about you to see how we can make you more welcome in the group” he admitted fixing his posture while he looked at her, still with the lust lacing through his eyes while he stared at her.
“really?” She asked shyly, she hadn’t had anyone put in that much effort for her not even men older than him had seemed to care this much about how she felt or if she felt 'welcomed' enough
She couldn’t help but feel her thighs starting to force themselves together as she squirmed at the own demise as her panties started to soak, the cotton underneath her jeans had been pooling with her own juices from the way she was watching him stare at her,
her heart skipped with each flick from her eyes looking him up and down like he was just the best god damn thing she had ever seen.
he had taken a notice the way she squirmed at even just the small action he took, his eyes couldn’t linger away from her for more than a damn second, it was like she was mesmerizing.
Like a siren in the deep blue of the ocean that was calling to him, he could tell she was nervous or maybe even turned on from him, probably a mix of both if his mind was being honest.
"no one else really seemed to pay attention" she mumbled underneath her breath hoping that he hadn't heard her pity remark about the others and their lack of consciousness to each other.
"i'm just used to letting the others walk over me and boss me around i never really have a say like you do" she admitted to him watching as he cocked his head to the side softly.
she knew she was starting to ramble about, letting her thoughts spill from her brain and roll out on her tongue,
"usually i'm the one who's given the orders and i just do what i'm told" she admitted and watched as his expression changed, his jaw shifted a little like he was frustrated at what she said.
"don't let them get to you, you see the way they tried to trample all over Daryl about looking for Sophia? it's quite just the doing of the fact we're all trying tor survive"
rick spoke taking a sip of his water canteen letting his eyes flick back up at her, she smiled at him as she took the last sip of her tea and set down the empty tea cup on the log beside her.
she watched as he moved his seat so he could sit next to her, she felt the side of his holster digging into part of her thigh because of the way they were pressed against one another.
he turned to look at her with a dim expression, before his hand rested at the side of her cheek he watched a smile arise on her face as he kissed her gently so he could taste her.
she could taste whiskey and peppermint on his tongue, he smelt like the crisp woods around them, her hands wrapped around the back of his neck to take in more of the kiss.
without even a slight struggle she was pulled into his lap, he felt her thighs squeeze together as she tried to create some sort of friction through the denim of her jeans.
he had helped her by guiding her hips with his, she hummed out against his lips sending a soft vibration through both of their bodies.
She fiddled at the buttons of the dusty tan shirt he was wearing, she wanted to feel him pressed up against her and it was like she couldn’t wait.
he could feel the eagerness of each button that came undone in the shirt until it was left in the dirt behind him, his chest pressed against hers.
It was his turn to strip her shirt and he hadn’t even hesitated to pull off the matted black tank to leave it on the ground with his shirt.
he had lifted her up from the log, taking her into her personal tent, he placed her down against the floor of it and used a pillow to prop her head up.
“you deserve more privacy” he remarked at her and watched as she smiled and ran one of her hands throughout his brown strands.
She tore off his pants feeling as he did the same to her, with nothing but undergarments on her body she couldn’t help but buck her hips up just so she could get more friction from him.
he kissed from in-between the valley of her breasts until he reached her navel, he peppered over her body and it made her hum.
it made her smile with each and every kiss that was ever so delicately placed on her skin.
“rick” she whispered aloud and she watched as he flicked his eyes up to look at her, his thumbs rubbing circles at the sides of her waist.
“Need you so bad” she mumbled out to him and watched as he gently tugged at the sides of her panties to pull them off.
He tossed them to the corner of the tent, his hands moved to her back and with one gentle sweep of a motion she felt her breasts fall free.
his own boxers were slipped down his thighs until they slipped off his legs and tossed away, she practically choked on her words when she saw just how large he was.
he rubbed at the sides of her cheeks before he had lined up with her, just to give her a little taste he had rubbed at it making her squirm.
“please rick, need you so bad” she pleaded aloud as her body practically arched up from the bed, with a simple motion of his hips he thrusted into her filling her entire cunt up with him.
Her nails clawed at his back with each and every thrust, first gentle and once she got the full feel of him she couldn’t seem to stop begging for him just to let her have it all.
she bit down on her lip to hide a scream that was going to rip from the deep pit of her throat from how well she felt him inside her.
He shushed her softly as he heard a struggled silenced whine come from between her lips,
with each and every whimper that came from her mouth he wished that he could hear the full thing because even just a sliver of her voice was driving him crazy.
he pressed his body even closer against her so that he could be able to thrust inside her easier, he felt her nails leave streaks on his shoulders.
he whispered sweet-nothings to her until he could feel her walls clench because she was on the verge of spilling over.
“fuck I think I’m gonna-“ she paused at the feeling of his thumb rubbing at her clit making her gasp and let out a croaked moan.
“come on, come for me princess” he whispered to her feeling his cock twitch with each motion of her walls clenching against him.
Within a few seconds they both felt the peaceful and sudden bliss wash over them, her juices sputtered on his abdomen and he had spilt a top of the skin on her stomach.
He watched her breathing rise and she whined at the his gentle touch as he used a canteen to get rag in her tent damp and he wiped away the mess he made against her skin.
he slipped her bra and underwear back on along with the jeans he had taken off of her, leaving the button undone he tossed a blanket over her.
he kissed the top of her forehead before getting himself dressed and laying with her, his hands wrapped around her waist and she smiled.
she closed her eyes and let out a soft yawn,
-
she woke up sitting up to see that the place next to her was cold, he must’ve gotten up hours ago.
she rubbed her eyes and looked for her t-shirt but it was no where to be found, she tossed her blanket off of her as she rustled through her bag.
she cursed softly as she realized that the must’ve left the shirts by the camp fire last night, she peaked her head out of the tent to see the group surrounded by a morning fire.
she smiled awkwardly before sticking her head back in the tent, she hadn’t seen the shirt by the log where they left it, and Rick wasn’t visible.
“fuck” she mumbled as she sat back in her tent, even if the shirt was there how could she explain how it even ended up there with his own son and best friend sitting there just a few feet away.
she tossed on her jacket and even though her bra was still visible through the gap she had almost made her way out of the tent but she stopped once she looked to the side of her tent.
there her shirt was strung up and she smiled as she slipped the tank back on and was finally able to make her way out of the tent.
he must’ve gotten their scattered clothes back together before she had woken up, she took a seat on the log next to Daryl and watched as he was cooking a snake over it.
he had even offered y/n some but she passed on the offer with a nice reply and smile watching as his eyes flicked back to his cooking breakfast.
“next time could you two keep it down? you and Rick are going to draw coyotes or walkers” she felt the words whispered in her ear practically trickle down her neck sending her shivers.
she gulped and put back the smile on her face so no one would catch on, “you know about that?” she whispered back leaning closer so that she didn’t have to speak as loud.
“What don’t I know about this group?” He remarked and pulled the snake away from the fire and began to start skinning it.
he placed a piece of the cut up meat on his knife in his mouth chewing it before he spoke again, “he’s up in the house if you need him”
y/n placed a rub on the top of Daryl’s head before standing up from the log and making her way up the hill until she finally reached the house.
Even though they had been here for weeks out of respect she still knocked before she entered just to alert that she was entering the house.
Rick was sitting in the living room drinking a glass of whiskey that Hershel had poured for him, Hershel was speaking with his daughter in the other room while ricks eyes flicked up to look at y/n who felt like she was out of place in the house.
“morning sunshine”
he spoke and watched as she took a seat next to him, he offered her a sip of the whiskey but she denied with a soft shake of her head.
“you hung my shirt up in the tent” she chuckled and watched him smile as he set the finished glass onto the coffee table in front of them.
“I did” he replied feeling as their legs touch from the way he purposefully had spread his, she reached out for his hand and felt as he clenched her hand gently as he took a gaze at her.
They didn’t have any clue what was next, they didn’t know how his son would handle this even though he knew the tension between Shane and them was belligerently obvious.
“whatever happens you don’t let them walk all over you, even if I’m not here” he spoke and peppered a kiss a top of her head.
“understood sheriff”

short writing practice one-shot, with rodydeku and erasercloud sprinkles. keep in mind this is only a hobby, and i am not an experienced writer.
~
wind rustled through izuku's hair as he sipped at his lychee-flavored boba. the sky was a a breathtaking orange-to-pink, and the clouds were in the cumulus formation.
izuku's always liked clouds. it was his little thing. like how denki acts like he hates it, but he actually like being compared to pikachu. yaomomo likes feeling useful. izuku likes clouds. hitoshi likes hugs-but only if its cold.
contrary to popular belief, izuku wasn't actually oblivious. he could see the way momo and kyoka looked at eachother. the way tenya looked to ochako for praise whenever he makes a joke or pop-culture reference.
the way denki always made to include hitoshi in whatever he did. the way aizawa-sensei had a picture on his desk of a blue-haired boy with a smile to rival even the brightest stars, and constantly held onto a necklace that held a ring identical to the one on his finger.
in short, he wasn't oblivious.
he was burst out of his thought process by a shuffling of footsteps behind him. a hand gently placed itself on his shoulder, warm and familiar.
"are you alright, midoriya?" aizawa-sensei's voice, gruff yet full of concern, rang out from behind him. he'd been, admittedly, softer, ever since the war. izuku thinks he, tenya and yaomomo make for great co-parents.
izuku blinked sleepily, "yes, aizawa-sensei. just..thinking about something."
"on the roof?" izuku nodded simply. his teacher huffed in fond irritation.
"..aizawa-sensei?" he started, quietly, a few minutes later. he picks at the label around his boba.
aizawa-sensei grunted.
"have you ever..loved someone that- that you can't have?" izuku's voice quivered, trailing off at the end, nervous.
"..i have."  izuku looked at his teacher, suprised.
"and how do you...deal with that?"
"other than drinking boba on roofs and staring at clouds?" he teased.
izuku tsked.
"this is about your othenan friend, isn't it?" aizawa-sensei deadpanned. izuku blushed and tilted his head in a shy 'yes'.
the black-haired man sighed and sat down next to him. the hand on izuku's shoulder moved to his head and ruffled his hair.
"..i had a friend. in my first year, when i moved to the hero course. i didn't want to be his friend, but i ended up hanging out with him and his group anyway." he could've sworn aizawa smiled. it was a wistful one, one that people would often have when reminiscing.
"he died in my second year."
"oh- i'm sorry – "
"don't apologise, kid. " he buried the lower half of his face in his capture scarf and continued, " i admit, i came to love him. romantically, i mean. but it was too late for it to go anywhere farther than it already was."
"w- what was his name?" izuku asked, gently.
aizawa-sensei hesitated before answering.
"...oboro. his name was oboro. "
izuku's smile was small, but kind, "thank you for sharing this with me, aizawa-sensei." he says, honestly. his teacher blinks, and bashfully pulls up his capture scarf to cover his mouth once more.
"c'mon, kid. let's get you back to the dorms." the gruff man offers his hand. the teen grasps it, laughing as he pulls himself up.
~
"..shota?" oboro had murmured, carding a hand through his boyfriend's hair as he dozed.
"mh?.. he hummed.
"do you think..we're together in every universe?" the blue-haired boy questioned softly. shota cracked an eye open to stare at him, confused.
"what brought this on?" he asks, voice hoarse from sleep. oboro blinks lazily, sky-blue eyelashes fluttering.
his face softened before he answered, "nothing, nothing! just..curious, i guess." he laughs quietly before pecking shota on the cheek.
the red-eyed boy gave a 'hmm' as he looked up at his partner. "i think, that any universe without you is a sad one." he muttered, sleepily. oboro smiled so wide his face must've hurt.
he rained kisses all over shota's face before tucking his face into the crook of his boyfriend's neck, a smitten grin stretching his lips.
shota huffed contentedly and settled down to fall back asleep.

dallas winston had never set foot inside a bookstore — that is unless you count the one time in new york before he was arrested. at that time though, he was brought along by these guys he would hang around in the subway. he watched as they pulled a gun on the old lady running the shop, the woman cowering as she handed them the money.
dallas thought about that often, he wasn't sure why they decided it had to be a bookstore of all places — did they even make money worth taking?
he hadn't exactly planned to go into that kind of store ever again, he wasn't the kind of guy that enjoyed literature of any kind and he couldn't be caught in a place like that; it would ruin his reputation. on one particular day though, he found himself being dragged to 'the book garden' — ponyboy's favourite store.
unfortunately for dallas, today he was tasked with accompanying johnny and pony as everyone else was busy. it's not that he didn't like them, because he did, he'd just rather spend his saturday doing anything else.
the three of them walked into the store where you just so happened to be working today. you glanced up at the ring of the bell when the door opened, seeing the trio of greasers. you gave a small smile to ponyboy, recognising him as he was a frequent customer. johnny you knew from school when he came and dallas — well, everyone knew dallas — but you didn't know him.
you kept yourself busy where you were, stocking the shelf with new additions. there were lots of interesting copies in there of old fairytales, you picked up a stack of seven rather thick books and walked slowly towards the fantasy section.
you could barely see over the stack but you knew your way around the store well so you felt confident enough to walk through blind. you did feel confident walking through blind, at least, that was until somebody bumped into you and made you and your stack of books fall to the floor.
you frowned, wincing as your knees came into contact with the hard wood.
you started gathering your books hurriedly, hearing a huff from above you. "you should watch where you're goin', huh? people are tryin' to walk here."
you swallowed hard and got up, balancing the pile of books in your arms once again and coming face-to-face with dallas winston.
"i'm— i'm sorry..." you sputtered out in apology, feeling embarrassment creep its way into your gut. you really should've known something like this had to happen at some point — you just didn't expect it to be dallas in particular.
the roughed up teen chewed the inside of his cheek, his eyes noticeably looking you up and down as if examing you before he looked away for a moment. he licked his teeth in a smile as he turned back to you.
"so— so what are you? uh, a— a librarian?" he asked with a little chuckle. "kinda cute."
you blinked slowly, his words catching up with you. "no... librarians work in libraries," you told him as you chewed your lip, "hence the name."
dallas tilted his head to the side and back into place in a shrug, letting out a low hum in acknowledgement. he wasn't the brightest, okay? how was he supposed to know that?
"you work here then?" he asked, despite it being obvious due to your attire and the fact you were cleary putting new stock away.
"mhm, yeah," you told him as you slid the books you were holding into their correct places on the shelf. "been working here for two years or so."
dallas nodded and sucked his cheeks in, rolling his eyes as ponyboy called him over to the exit.
"well," dallas leant down slightly as he got closer to your face, "i s'pose you might be seein' be around here more often," he claimed with a wonky grin.
"what?" you questioned with a furrowed brow, "you like reading?"
"no," dallas shook his head, "i seem to be growing quite fond of you though, darlin'."
you were flattered despite the fact that this was your first proper meeting — you understand why so many girls from your school would talk about him now. you were definitely falling for his charm, that's for sure.
"o— okay... bye," you told him quickly before hurrying back over to the staff room and closing the door. you leant against the wall and cupped your face in your hands, letting out a little screech of embarrassment and gently smacking yourself.
dallas winston had never set foot in a bookstore — and now he would make sure he did at least weekly.

Transformers prime story request.
The vehicons are the decepticons storm troopers, treated like nobodies and abused by their commanders every so often.
So... How about a story where one seeks to leave the decepticon life. Posing as a regular car at a car sale. This vehicon figures some time among Humans will be just what he needs. Having changed paint jobs and removing any trackers in him. He hopes to just... Enjoy "human watching", seeing what their lives are like.
He ends up bought by Jacks' mother sometime before she and her son knows about the transformers. And slowly ends up caring about her as he poses as her car. Enjoying the little things of his new life.
... And then her son brings home Arcee and the series ticks off from there.
A "normal" life
T-34B watched as humans mingled around him. Idle chatter filled the parking lot as different fleshy servos brushed along his alt-mode. Grumbled words of distaste and disinterest bounced around in his helm.
Had he picked a bad color? He thought the light blue was good but maybe he was wrong.
Did he look too worn down? He thought if he looked too new that he'd have less options but maybe he was wrong.
Was his model wrong? His research said that VW Beetles were decent cars but maybe he was wrong.
Should he have gone flashier? Sleeker? Been red? Maybe if he-
"How bout this one?" A voice interrupted his thoughts. There was a female human standing in front of his hood. Looking at him. Judging him. As subtly as he could he tried to push out his plating, air up his tires, and catch the sun just right so he looked as presentable as possible.
And it seemed to be working until a shorter and what seemed to be younger human butted in.
"Looks like an old man." The boy stated which was hurtful, he thinks. T-34B knew he wasn't the best or the brightest or even that standout but he didn't look that bad right?
Right?
"Don't be mean Jack I think that gives it character." T-34B was full of character, the lady gets it. Jack rolled his weird organic optics but shrugged.
Which T-34B would later learn was a seal of approval. Sort of.
Being driven through the streets of Jasper was weird. It felt wrong not to be in control of himself. He had to stifle every little desire to take the wheel or change the radio station.
He liked Earth's music but he wasn't a fan of the genre of 'Country'. It sounded too similar to him. As the songs blurred together into one noise it just reminded him of staring at the countless versions of his face. He did not like it. But he did not change it because cars didn't do that.
Pulling into what would be his new home he tried not to feel cramped inside the garage. He told himself that it was cozy and really far better than what he had back on the Nemesis. Because it was, anything was better than the Decepticon ship. Even a tiny garage and fleshy organics who weren't careful with sugary fluids were better than what he came from.
He'd have thousands of drinks spilled in his cab before he ever regretted leaving.
.
.
Life with the Darby's was simple. He learned the woman's name was June and that she was Jacks carrier or mom as the teen called her. He learned what a teenager was too.
He discovered that June was a nurse and that Earth's hospitals were not that different to the ones that once operated on Cybertron. At least from the outside looking in.
They didn't drive him many places. Mostly June's job, Jack's educational center, a place called WinCo Foods, and building with a bright neon sign that read Jasper Bowlarama. He did not know what a "Bowlarama" was but the Darby's always seemed happy after coming and he got to see lots of humans doing human things so everything was good
T-34B was staring to like when the unit he drove around were happy. He liked the talks he got to overhear. Like how Jack was doing in chemistry and that he was thinking of trying out for football. Which his mother didn't seem fond of and countered with going for band instead. He liked when June had a long shift and could barely drive, it gave him the chance to repay her by getting her home safely.
He liked that randomly June decided to give him a name. Apparently naming cars what just a thing humans did. She suggested Nancy because that had been the last vehicles name and the one before that so it just made sense.
T-34B dreaded being named after another.
But Jack interjected unknowing on his behalf. Said he didn't look like a Nancy.
He agreed.
Instead sighting that he looked more like a Buggy or Ozzy.
June picked Ozzy.
.
.
When Jack came back with a motorcycle June had lost her mind but gradually came around.
Ozzy had also lost his mind and was still currently losing it. For one he had to share his garage now. For two he felt like he was losing Jack. The teen didn't need him now because of that death machine. And for three and technically most important that was a FRAGGIN Autobot!
Oh Primus he was slagged. He was so slagged. His only saving grace was that the Bot hadn't realized he wasn't just a beetle and that almost immediately after June left Jack and the Bot began arguing.
He learned the Bot was Arcee. He's never encountered the Femme before but he's heard about her. Quick tempered and a 'shot first ask questions later' type. She's offlined hundreds of vehicons and now he was stuck sharing space with her.
Oh Ozzy was so slagged.

why you must have faith in KoHii/HiiKoha
gonna go on a little ramble, my mind can't stop thinking about this duo specifically (all the time, but this time, i have the power to gush on people about it)
So a little bit of spoiler warning before you go on ahead :3
If you want to add more onto this, don't be shy, I'd love to discuss this with someone
This will be very long i think, so yeah.. ;3
Gonna put a basic symbol line-break everytime i change topics in this post so...
Table of contents on this post's analysis:
Amagi Hiiro
Oukawa Kohaku
In-context HiiKoha/KoHii
Shameless fic promotion
.............♤❀.............
Both of them are seen as pure and precious (by their closest family members, at the very least) who were born and raised in the most fucked up scenario
Hiiro was seen and raised as nothing but an aide (for his brother, the future monarch) in his hometown, so much so that he wasn't even taught common sense or self-worth. He was raised to specifically only act on instinct and to do as instructed, aka he wasn't treated humanly, which he thought was normal. It still shook me when Hiiro said something that basically implied "if I weren't apart of the Amagi family, I might have died when I was little" i forgot which episode it's in but i specifically remember Hiiro saying that fondly after Aira asking him how he can be this annoying without dropping dead (chapter 1).
Maybe that's why Mayoi specifically said something along the lines of "he has a scent similar to mine, how interesting" when alkaloid was made. They have that similarity in which the both of them were treated as less of a human, so they believed it. They just reacted and lower themselves differently. Mayoi trying to avoid people so they don't have to be burdened by him to the point of believing he's nothing but filth and Hiiro, who, as I said, thought it was normal and think of it as basic etiquette to be treated like a stepping stone. (I shall stop myself here before this post digresses to a HiiMayo post lol)
He was even taught on to be a shield for his brother and he definitely knows how to kill someone using his bare hands with that martial art he always trained for. His pure, innocent, and kind mind never saw any of those as wrong. He thought it was right since everyone (the adults specifically) around him acts like it's normal. To put it simply: he was brainwashed since he was little and he's trying his best to think for himself ever since he got out of his homwtown.
.............♤❀.............
The other one, Kohaku, grew up in a family branch specifically treated as a beating stick to the main family tree. A disposable bloody stick, tainting a glorious garden to be precise. A garden called the Suou family. Hell, he wasn't even supposed to be alive. His humanity was denied of him so much so that his family had to hid him for years to keep him alive. His only friend being his cousin Tsukasa and his SNS buddy "Love." He grew up fairly "normal", he worked his dream job for COS PRO, a rising idol agency and even have a place in the Reimei dormitory, a school affiliated to COS PRO.
Maybe he was trained to and have assassinated some people and know the most painful way to effectively torture someone. But he's still most definitely an adolescent. Yknow, the kind to have sweet tooth, getting scared of zombies, and being a sassy teen who roasts people without fail.
.............♤❀.............
These two barely have interactions which is so so painful because of how well their dynamic is between every rare interaction they have. And Kohaku's newest idol story with Hiiro have shed the brightest light of a possibility that they'll add on some more story with them <-me being hopeful.
Now i shall enlighten you with how these two see each other in the story.
Hiiro sees Kohaku as Aira's friend and his brother's unitmate. Despite being older than him, he always tries to be polite with him (as he does to almost everyone) and refers to him by his family name and even put an honorific on it (which would no doubt make him sound a little distant). They barely talked or interact with one another, but it was Hiiro's friendliness that made them to be good enough acquaintances. Being the low-SQ guy he is, of course he doesn't see that as awkward. He simply thought of Kohaku as a friend since he's also Aira's friend. (Please HappyEle i need more Hiiro's POV of their relationship :"v)
Kohaku is pretty much in a similar situation as Hiiro but he thought of it through more (as much as he could at least). He refers to Hiiro like how the rest of crazy: b call him: "Otouto-han" / "Rinne's little brother." He started calling him "Hiiro-Han" after a couple of meet-ups which I can only assume is a result of hearing Aira's stories about him and how he isn't used to be treated with the kind of respect Hiiro gives out to people (Hiiro keeps finding ways to feel inferior to people in a logical way that icks him but Kohaku can't really tell what it is that he feels bad about, do you understand what I'm saying).
To put it simply, he thought that Hiiro was the total opposite of Rinne: way too innocent and naive for his own good. He considered Hiiro as a simple acquaintance until he began to realise that Hiiro seems to be friendlier than other acquaintances he knew (dude the crumbs HappyEle give on Kohaku's POV makes me go insane)
This made Kohaku became more confused about their relationship status (lol) especially after the events in Matrix (will talk about soon) where Kohaku sees for the first time how the Amagi(s) aren't so different from one another in terms of their stubbornness. He saw with his own eyes how Hiiro would go all out to do what he believes to be right, so much so that it scares him how Hiiro can still look so innocent despite of his capabilities. That fear got him thinking "are we friends or not?" Because of how Hiiro seems to be even friendlier after that event. And eventually the two losers (affectionately) finally start to be actually friends and not a mere acquaintance.
(I need more of them please)
.............♤❀.............
P.s. if you haven't caught onto it yet, both of them are idiots (in their own way) and i believe they'll both be perfect for each other once the two actually opens up about how fucked up their upbringing is.
Can you just imagine how Hiiro would casually talk about what happened to him in his childhood and Kohaku just looked at him with mixed feelings between pity and judgement and surprise? I can and shall use it to the best of my ability :3
Coming soon to AO3 (as soon as my account got approved) it'll focus more on the slices of life for these two + aira because aihiiko is perfection. I shall anounce and post the fic there as immediately as I can. If you're interested, I'm planning to name it as "Estranged Youths" so.. :3

what have the easter lilies whispered about us?
rating: teen
pairing: wally darling/gn! reader
author's note: it's on ao3 too (and much better formatted over there)!
Julie is not helpful.
You love her, and she's sweet and bubbly, but her advice? Useless, irrelevant, terrible. She is sitting across from you, feet propped up in your lap as she lies on her back and flips through a magazine. She'd been happy to come over at your very sudden request (is always happy to get some extra time with you), but you're beginning to think that you perhaps should have sought out a different resident for the topic that has been plaguing your mind.
"Look, it isn't hard," she says, peering over the magazine to beam at you. "Wally is very receptive to criticism! Just tell him that he sucks at kissing and that you want him to improve."
"What? No–Julie." You shove her legs off of your lap. "He doesn't suck at kissing. He's really cute! His kisses are sweet! He does the muah thing, you know? It's super endearing."
She sits up, grabs you by the shoulders, and gives you a little shake. "I get it! Wally has been my friend practically forever. Everyone knows he's cute! But," she waggles her eyebrows at you, "you don't want him to just do the muah thing anymore, right?"
Yeah, she definitely wasn't the right resident for this. You should've asked Frank, or Eddie–hell, even Barnaby might have better advice. You have no qualms about your relationship with Wally. It is still new; that's true, and he's still learning many different things in many different ways. He asks a lot of questions, and he tries really, really hard. He's constantly pestering Barnaby for romantic advice (or so you hear), and the amount of care that he puts into being better for you is more than you ever could've asked for.
"I don't want to push him," you say. The last thing you want is to drive him away when you've only just gotten him so close. But, "I just…want more from him. I want to try more with him."
Julie hums, considering your words carefully. "Well, have you ever thought that maybe he'd be willing to try if you were honest with him about what you want?"
You sigh, fiddling with the hem of your sweater. "I'm worried that he'd say yes to anything just to appease me."
"Ah, I see," Julie nods. "He is a people-pleaser. Well! You know what that means," she grins at you, and you shake your head because no, you don't. "I've got to play the middle party! I'll take matters into my own hands."
Your eyes go wide, and you begin stuttering out, "What? No–Julie, you can't-"
"Don't worry," she squishes your face between her tiny hands. "I won't say anything to him directly. I'll just…have Barnaby ask him a few pointed questions, and I'll get his answers from the flowers!"
Mouth puckered as she holds onto you, you mumble, "You shouldn't use your connection with the flowers to eavesdrop, Julie."
She gasps, hand flying to touch her chest dramatically. "Eavesdrop? I'm simply helping your relationship blossom!"
You know that she's not likely to take no for an answer, so you merely purse your lips and stare her down. "Just–make sure Barns doesn't push him too hard, alright? I don't want him getting overwhelmed and shutting down."
She gives you a little salute and hops up to her feet. "Your wish is my command!" Her dress flops up and down as she skips towards your front door. She stops, one hand on the knob, and turns to give you her brightest, warmest smile. "I know Wally very well, neighbor. Sometimes, he just needs a little push."
"Okay," you try and return her smile, but the one tugging at your own lips feels forced. "I trust you, Julie."
She blows you a kiss, and leaves your home as quickly as she'd come. Your heart pitter-patters in your chest, and nervousness seeps into your bones, causing your hands to shake. You and Wally have been, pointedly, taking it slow. You're happy to go at his pace. But, you find yourself wondering often if what you see for your relationship as it progresses is what Wally sees. Do your visions line up? Has he even thought about the long-term? Are you more invested than you should be?
You are trying hard not to discredit his feelings. He says he loves you, and you want to believe that he knows what that means. So, maybe Julie is right. The only thing left to do is be honest.
The rapid knocking at your front door startles you out of your almost-sleep. You've been tired as of late, staying up throughout the night to plan Home's very first group painting session-slash-picnic that is taking place next week. Plus, your concerns about you and Wally's relationship haven't exactly been lulling you to sleep, either. You need cat-naps just to get you through the day.
"I know you're home!" comes Julie's voice, slightly muffled by the door, but still as chipper as always. "Open up! We have urgent matters to discuss."
You yawn, rubbing at your eyes as you go to let her inside. She marches straight into your living room the moment you open the door and plops down on your sofa.
"I had a very interesting conversation with the flowers today," she says by way of greeting.
Your heart does a great big jump in your chest. You almost don't want to know what she heard, but curiosity gets the best of you. "Go on."
"Alright! So," she smooths down her pretty, pink dress, and folds her hands in her lap. "The other day, after our little conversation, I gave Barnaby a list of questions to casually ask Wally. You know, basic stuff! Like, how's your relationship going? And, are you happy?"
"Okay," you say slowly, nodding.
"I told him the goal was to get Wally to open up a bit," she continues. She's speaking quickly now, clearly eager to get all of her newly-learned information out. "And, oh boy, open up he did! The flowers were very detailed when I asked them what he said."
She reaches out to take your hand. "Firstly, Wally is trying to plan a date for you! I nearly squealed when I heard that, seriously! I don't know the details, but the marigold told me that he asked Barnaby what dates are like, what people usually do on them. He was taking notes on his notepad and everything. Isn't that just the sweetest?"
A lump forms in your throat, making it near impossible to speak. You manage to get out a strangled, "Yes. So sweet."
A date. A date. How did he even learn about dates? From Julie's silly novels, no doubt, or perhaps Frank and Eddie. You're not sure he understands the concept (he has only just learned what 'hanging out' means), but he's got the spirit. He is trying to be romantic, for you.
If you think about it for too long you know you'll end up in tears, so you squeeze Julie's hand and ask, "What else did he say?"
"Well, Barnaby started to pry a bit more," she says. A big grin splits her face in two, and her eyes go slightly hooded and foggy with a dreamy sort of look. "He asked Wally,'what's your favorite part about being in a relationship?' And, naturally, Wally gave the cutest, sweetest little answer ever, which was: 'I just like being able to hold hands with my dearest friend.' But, the violets told me he blushed after that, got all embarrassed, and said, 'I also like it when they play with my hair. No one ever really did that, before them.'"
"Oh," your heart gives an abhorrent kick from inside your chest. He likes it when you play with his hair? It doesn’t happen often; his hair is almost always styled to perfection, and when the two of you spend time together, it is typically in a public space. However, there are tiny blips in time, moments in which the sun has made you tired, and the two of you head back to your place together, arm in arm. You’ll sit on the couch, head propped up against the back of it, and Wally will sprawl out like a cat in your lap. His hair, curled nice and tight, unfurls as you gently run your fingers through it. The motion tends to lull you to sleep, and Wally has never said anything about it–has never asked you not to do it– but you weren’t aware that he liked it, either. You weren’t aware that there were any elements of physical affection that he enjoyed. Had always just presumed that he didn’t mind one way or the other.
Julie is practically vibrating with excitement, perched on the edge of the sofa cushion. She says, “Wally has always been open to physical affection. He didn’t really understand it before we taught him what we know, that’s true, but–since he started going out with you, he’s gone from being indifferent, to liking it. That’s a good sign, neighbor.”
“I know,” you agree.
“And,” she goes on, “there’s one more thing that I simply must tell you. I heard it from the Easter lilies, and it’s too juicy to skip over.” She leans forward as if she’s preparing to spill her deepest, darkest secret. Her voice drops down to a whisper, and she says, “Wally said, and the lilies quote, ‘I’m going to ask them for a kiss. A real kiss; like the ones I’ve read about in books. I want to know what it feels like. I want to try, but only with them.’ Isn’t that just the bees knees?”
Your mouth pops open, and your eyes go a little wide. You can feel warmth gradually creep into your cheeks, and the tips of your ears. You’ve got a flush going all the way down your neck that disappears beneath the collar of your sweater. A real kiss? Your mind is spinning with a dozen different questions. You weren’t even aware that Wally knew the difference between the types of kisses the two of you usually share, and a “real kiss.” You have got to confiscate Julie’s novel collection from him.
“Barnaby told him that being blunt was perhaps not the best way to go about it,” Julie says. “So, Barns suggested that Wally take you on a date, and work his way up to asking you for one! I have no idea what kind of date he’s planning, but I’m sure it will be uniquely him!”
“A date,” you repeat. “A real kiss. This is all–oh my, what if it’s happening too fast? I mean, Wally and I have only truly been a couple for a few months, now. I don’t know if I’ll–well, I mean. Oh, Julie,” you bury your face in your hands, huffing out a long sigh. “This is all so scary.”
She frowns, and tugs your hands away from your face. “I thought this is what you wanted, though.”
“It is,” you say quickly. “I mean, obviously, it is. But, I’m nervous too. I want it to be good for him. If I’m his first real kiss, I should make it special. I don’t want to disappoint him.”
“Hey,” she gently nudges her shoulder against yours. “He loves you. I think you could probably pour all of his paint down the sink, and he’d still think you hang the sun in the sky every morning.”
Though you know there is truth to her words, your hands still tremble at the thought of what is to come. Wally, when he has something on his mind and is able to fully conceptualize it, is blunt. If he’s been thinking about the progression of your relationship, he is going to bring it up. He doesn’t understand nuance very well; can’t read the mood of a room, or pick apart the vibe of a specific conversation. And, if you don’t choose your words correctly, he may think that you’re not interested.
“You’ve got to get ready,” she says. “He’s coming over to ask you on that date in just a few hours. There’s no time to waste!”
“What?” You nearly choke on your own breath, heart jack-hammering behind your ribcage. “He wants to take me on a date today? Why didn’t you lead with that, Julie?”
She giggles, whistle-clean and sheepish, and brushes her hair over her shoulder. “Slipped my mind, I suppose. I was too excited to relay the flowers’ messages! Now,” she stands up, tugging you up from the couch with her. “Go put on something terribly cute! If I know Wally’s schedule as well as I think I do, he’s probably just finished up tormenting Howdy at the bodega. That means he’s headed to the post office next, and you’ve got approximately one hundred and two minutes to look your best!”
She gently shoves at your back to get you moving, and you shuffle down the hallway towards your bedroom. She heads to the door, and calls out an airy, “Have fun tonight! I know it’s going to be love-o-ly!” You hear the door shut behind her as she leaves, and you stand in the middle of your bedroom, tension so tight in your shoulders that it almost hurts.
Right, okay. You know Wally. He is your friend, first and foremost. There’s no need to overthink this. He is nice, and sweet, and silly, and you’re going to have a great time. It’ll be just like any other day with him, only slightly more pointed. You just need to put the whole kissing thing out of your mind for the time being. You want to progress the intimacy aspect of your relationship, and it seems that Wally does, too. Best to let it happen naturally.
You shower, and then rummage through your closet in search of something to wear. It’s nice and warm outside, so you opt for something light and breezy. You get dressed, and take the time to style your hair in your vanity mirror. You think it might be smart to apply some lip balm just to be safe (you never know where the afternoon might lead), so you do that quickly, and then step back to take a look at yourself. Casual, but chic. Julie would be pleased.
You’re dawdling around your living room, wondering if you have time to run to the bodega and get him a gift (What would you even buy him? New paint? Brushes?), when there’s a rhythmic knock on your door.
“Okay,” you mumble to yourself, taking a deep breath. “No need to be nervous. It’s just Wally. You see him every day. Relax.”
You carefully school your features, and then pull the front door open.
And it’s like–you knew he’d be here, standing in front of you, ready to take you on a date. Julie had prepared you. But actually seeing him is so, so much more than you’d anticipated. He is wearing a rainbow button-down, red ascot, and navy slacks. His hair is styled as it usually is, but he’s left a few strands out to frame his face. He is smiling at you, a smile you’ve seen probably a thousand times by now, but it leaves you winded, anyway, and he is clutching a bouquet of paper flowers in his hands.
“Hi,” he greets you. He doesn’t look nervous, but then, he’s never been very easy to read. He holds out the paper flowers. “I made these for you.”
You gingerly take them from him, and bring them closer to your face. They smell of paint and cardboard, and the tiniest bit of strawberry, and you quirk a brow at him.
“Spritzed them with some fragrance that Howdy made,” he shrugs.
“They’re my favorite color,” you say.
He grins. “I know.”
You carefully set them on the coffee table inside your home, step out into the fresh air, and close the door behind you. Wally is standing in front of you, hands neatly clasped in front of himself like he doesn’t quite know what to do with them. His face is carefully blank sans a little smile, and you clear your throat, shifting your weight from one foot to the other. You’ve never struggled for words in front of him before, and it’s difficult to keep your breathing even as you meet his gentle gaze.
He asks, easy and warm, “Would you like to go on a date with me, neighbor?”
Your lips twitch, tiny smile finding its way to your face. “A date?” You question. “What exactly does that mean to you?”
He mulls it over for a moment, and replies, “A date can be a lot of different things. I asked Eddie, and he said there’s no right way to go on a date. Howdy says it’s just about doing something special with the person you care about.”
“They’re very insightful,” you muse. You hold your hand out to him, and he takes it with ease. The act of twining your fingers together is still new to him, so he does it a bit slowly. Clumsy. “Yes, I’d love to go on a date with you, Wally.”
He seems content with basking in comfortable silence as he leads you to the date’s location. He has never understood the implication of what too much quiet means, and you like that he possesses no stigma towards it. It’s nice to be with someone who isn’t pressured to be anything more or less than he is. You’ve always liked Wally because is, unapologetically, himself. The more he learns about feelings and relationships, the more him he seems to become.
“Okay,” Wally comes to a stop at the edge of Home’s main walking path. “You have to close your eyes. I want you to be surprised.”
You do ask he requests, eyes shut tight, and Wally continues leading you forward by your hand. He must forget that you can’t actually see, because he doesn’t so much as guide you as he does catch you when you trip and stumble over things. The terrain has become uneven, rocky, and you spend the next five minutes trying not to faceplant over what you think are massive tree routes.
He stops walking again. “Okay, neighbor. When you’re ready, open your eyes.”
You square your shoulders, and take a deep, steadying breath.
He has taken you to the beginnings of the forest. You’ve never come out this far before, had no real reason to, but it is just as beautiful as you might’ve imagined. The trees are green, green with spring, and wildflowers sprout beneath your feet. Underneath a giant maple tree rests a table and two little stools, all made out of old stumps and logs. In the center of the table is an array of different foods, and one tiny daisy in a jar. Away from the hustle and bustle of Home, you’re able to hear nature in all of its fullness. Birds sing dozens of branches overhead, and the wind whistles wispy tunes between the leaves.
“Oh,” you exhale, eyes impossibly wide. “This is amazing, Wally. You put this together yourself?”
“Mostly,” he tells you. “Howdy provided the food, and Barnaby helped carry the logs. I came up with the idea, though. I wanted to see what you’d look like surrounded by all this green.”
You don’t have the words. Don’t know what you could say, when he has clearly put so much thought into this. You’re reminded of what Julie had said to you earlier, little tidbits of information she learned from the flowers. That Wally likes you, and he likes physical affection from you. That he is trying to learn so much about relationships for you. It makes your chest ache with fondness, and the only thing you’re able to do is turn to him and pull him into a tight hug.
His reaction speed is still slow no matter how many hugs you give him. When you wrap your arms around his neck and tug him close, he goes limp against you for half a second. But then his arms sneak up, and wrap tight around your waist. He buries his face in the crook of your neck, and stands there with you, still as the dirt beneath the soles of your shoes. His hands smooth along the curve of your shoulders, and then the small of your back, and you shudder against him before pulling away.
“This is very sweet, Wally,” you say. “Thank you for planning this for me.”
“No need to thank me,” he says, the soft yellow of his cheeks turning just the slightest bit pink. “Come on, let’s sit. You should eat, and I want to draw you.”
You take a seat on one of the stools, and Wally sits on the other. He carefully unpacks the food for you, and urges you to dig in. Between your chat with Julie and getting ready for the date, you’d forgotten to eat all day. You’re all too happy to eat the fruits and bowls of snacks in front of you. Wally watches you with a big smile, eyes catching light from the sun. He pulls out his sketchbook and a brand new red crayon, and begins sketching you.
This certainly isn’t the first time he’s drawn you, but it’s the first time you feel so aware of it. You try to focus on your food, but you can feel the way his eyes follow every single minute movement that you make. Your belly is swimming with nerves by the time he’s finished, and you know that you must be blushing because your face feels incredibly warm.
“Ah, sorry it took so long,” he says, holding the drawing close to his chest. “I wanted to get your features just right. Your lips are awfully hard to draw.”
You set down the bowl of fruit you’ve been eating, and quirk an inquisitive brow at him. “My lips?”
He nods. “They’re just so…soft looking. Delicate, like flower petals, almost. Hard to get just right.”
Something about the thought of him studying your lips with unperturbed concentration makes your heart race.
“Can I see?” You ask, nodding towards his sketchbook.
“Not yet,” he smiles at you. “I want to take it home and paint it first. But,” he stands from his place at the log table, and holds a hand out to you. “Do you want to look at the clouds with me?”
This has been one of Wally’s favorite things, recently. He’s learned that, by cloud gazing, he’s able to truly let his imagination run wild as he looks up at the sky. You often partake with him, but half the time you’re not even looking at the clouds, too focused on him. He is charming enough as it is, but when he gets that little spark of inspiration in his eyes, you can’t take your gaze off of him. You take his hand and let him lead you away from the table, right beneath a tall, oak tree. There is just enough shade to ensure that the sun doesn’t sting your eyes while still leaving the clouds visible.
You lie on your back, and turn your head to the side to glance at him. He is looking at you, too.
“You know,” he begins, “I was nervous to ask you out, today.”
This surprises you a little. “Really?” He hadn’t looked nervous, not really, but perhaps he just doesn’t know how to express it.
He nods, and sighs as he turns his gaze towards the sky. “Being in a relationship is more confusing than I thought it would be. I just want to do right by you.”
You frown, propping yourself up on one elbow to look down at him. His face is carefully blank, smile gone. Reaching out, you rest your other hand atop his chest.
“Wally,” you flash him a small, sincere smile, “being with you is enough. You don’t have to try and be someone you’re not. And…I don’t want this to be confusing for you. It should be easy, happy, and fun.”
“It’s all of those things,” he assures you, “but I sometimes have these…feelings that I don’t know what to do with. I try to ask the others for advice, but they mostly just tease me.”
Your curiosity has peaked, now. “What kind of feelings?” You ask.
He mimics you, propping himself up on an elbow too. Lying like this, his face dangerously close to yours, you have to remind yourself not to get distracted by how pretty he is. You keep your eyes on his as he continues.
“Here,” he rests a hand on his stomach, “and here,” he touches his chest. “I feel like I’m overflowing, sometimes. Like, there is something inside of me that really wants out. I’ve been thinking about things that I never thought about before I met you. And before you say anything, it’s not because of Julie’s romance novels! I mean, yes, I’ve gotten some ideas from them, but I don’t think they’re fully responsible for the way that I just can’t stop thinking about kissing you.”
He has always been blunt, but his words give you no time to prepare for the swooping heat that flutters through your belly, and renders your face hot. Your mouth pops open in shock, and you have to close your eyes for a moment to gather your thoughts. He sounds sincere; wouldn’t be talking about this at all if he weren't, and the idea of him lounging around, thinking about what it’d be like to kiss you for real is just–it’s enough to have your mind going fuzzy.
“You can,” you manage to get out, voice slightly raspy. “Kiss me, I mean. Anytime you want.”
“What if I want to all the time?” He glances at you. “What if you don’t want to?”
“I always want to,” you assure him.
He looks at you for a long moment, the air stretched thin between the two of you. He studies your face, gaze moving from your eyes to your brows to the curve of your lips. His own face is painted neutral, no sign of anything that he's feeling visible to you. You wonder if you'll ever learn to read him.
"You really want to?" He asks, reaching out to cup your cheek with his hand.
You lean into his touch and nod. "Yes. I really want to."
"Okay," he says, and leans forward to kiss you promptly.
Slowly, you drop the elbow that has been keeping you upright. You lie back, and Wally follows fluidly, half overtop of you as he shades you from the sun. His mouth is pressed to yours firmly, entirely still for a couple of seconds, and then he pulls back to blink at you. You see his eyes cloud briefly, like he's turning over the kiss in his mind. He must gather his confidence because he leans down again, his hand sliding into your hair, and kisses you so swift you lose your breath.
You're stunned at first, body locking up. This is it. You've been thinking about this for so long, dreaming about it, and he wants this too. He doesn't feel pressured, or obligated. He is kissing you, and kissing you, and you part your mouth so that the two of you can properly slot together. He is just the tiniest bit tentative, unsure of what to do. His hand is still in your hair and you feel him beginning to pull away, but you don't want him to be nervous about this. Not with you.
You press up into him, kissing him fierce and sharp and hot. His mouth is soft the way it always is, oddly shaped but easy to adjust to. You press your palm against his neck, the curve of his jaw, and use your tongue to gently coax his mouth open. He is so careful to follow your lead; loves learning, and loves it even more with you. You slide your tongue past his lips, curling it against the roof of his mouth. He shudders full-body and wanton against you when his own tongue twines with yours.
You try to focus on the kiss, on making it good for him and meeting him move for move. But he is nearly on top of you, body pressed to yours from shoulder to hip, and the weight of him there–so present– has you losing yourself, mind fuzzy and limbs getting heavy and jelly-like. His fingers tighten in your hair and tug so that your head falls back, neck curved. The leverage allows him to kiss you deeper, to swipe his tongue along your bottom lip until your belly swoops hot with want.
You yank yourself away from him with a choked off gasp, cheeks burning up. His own, covered in a soft pink color, must match yours.
He says, voice raspy like his throat has been scraped raw with a fork, "I'm sorry. Was that too much?"
"No," you shake your head quickly. "It was good, just–I needed to breathe."
You don't want to give him the wrong idea; the kiss really was good. Better than any you've ever had, and certainly more involved than anything you've done with him previously. You smile at him, soft and sweet, and kiss the apple of his cheek.
"Thanks," you say. "For this date, and for trusting me enough to want to try new things with me, and just…for everything."
"Don't thank me," he tells you. He shimmies down a little, head resting on your stomach. "I just want to spend my days making you happy. If I'm able to do that, then–wow. Life is good, you know?"
You sweep your fingers through his hair, unfurling it. "I know what you mean."
The two of you lie together for an unfathomable amount of time. You drift off here and there, your hands carding through Wally's hair. You almost feel as if you've stepped into some sort of dream world where the only inhabitants are you and him and the butterflies and birds. He's happy to let you snooze beneath him until the sun begins to go down, and then walks you home, your hand in his.
And when he kisses you goodnight on your front porch, all sweet, sweet confidence and pink cheeks, you can't help but feel pleased as punch.
That night, when you dream, it is of blue jays and paper flowers and the warmest smile you have ever seen.

Teen fem reader x yandere.
They are both in highschool maybes she’s a year below him or just a little younger anyway- she’s know around school for really just having her shit together. She authentic, she’s smart, she knows what she wants to do with her life, she NEVER fights. She’s the type of girl to be nice nasty like of someone tries something she throws out some “I’ll pray for you,” or just something classy yk?
So it is a major surprise when she walks into the front office when yan is there being escorted in by a teacher or what not with looks like disheveled hair and when the person in the office questions her she admits she got into a fight. Everyone in the office is surprised because everyone knows she’s a good girl.
Yan can’t even believe it now wait till he finds out the reason we got into our first fight!
We got into a fight because of him actually. We were sitting minding our own business when these bitches started talking about him saying stuff like: “He’s so weird and shy, he’s fine as fuck though I would totally smash.” “I would let him fuck my throat is he weren’t such a loser.”
We hear that shit and trying to be as kind and put together as we can say: “Don’t talk about him like that.” They got offended and next thing we know we won a fight and are in the office with him.
note; this bad boy grew a whole ass storyline as i was writing it damn
Unlike a certain someone, she was better at hiding her feelings. However, when she heard her classmates speaking like that about him she couldn't help herself. When she was younger her dad got her to take up martial arts for a short while so she knew where to hit. It was easy really, to just hurt someone like that.
The assistant to the principal barely had their hand hovering over her back as she made her way into the office. The instant shocked looks she got wasn't something she really expected to happen but it is what it is.
"If you could just wait here for a moment miss, I'm sure this will all be figured out soon." The assistant said as they motioned her over to a chair, right next to him. He had been looking at her the whole time she was being escorted in, his eyes never leaving her figure. He seemed to be shocked, not even the thin line of blood dripping from his hairline seemed to interest him more than she did.
She sat down next to him, her legs crossed over each other as she fought the want to look at him. He had moved here not too long ago, an ex-private school kid. Rumours had already spread about him and from what she had seen him do they seemed to be true. He had been placed at this school because he was a delinquent that didn't fit the private scene. He beat up other kids and disrespected property.
He was the exact opposite of herself and yet that's what drew her to him. She was a fierce believer in opposites attract. Or maybe she just wanted a reason behind her casual infatuation. Being the best and the brightest got boring sometimes so maybe he was the perfect distraction?
It wasn't even as if her classmates were spewing lies about him either. He was rather cute, hot even. She wouldn't mind kissing him, or lying with him or maybe even letting her choke on his dick. It's just that she would prefer that only she be allowed the privilege.
No one seemed to understand him like she did.
"Why are you here?" Her head turned as he spoke up, his voice harsh and gruff. She blinked at him, behind his cold exterior she could see that small glint in his eye. That glint told her he was just as interested in her as she was in him. It was no secret that he was interested in her, rumours had spread about that as well.
That he would pummel anyone who talked down about her, using their blood as a reminder that she was untouchable even more than she already was. Sometimes she even thought the teachers encouraged it, so long as he wasn't breaking school property he could tail her as much as he liked. Act like her secret protector...
"There was just a little misunderstanding." She mumbled, he had been close to her many times before but she rarely had the chance to get close to him without him moving away from her, as if he was scared to even be seen next to her. She found it stupid... and selfish.
"Bullshit!" He yelled, his hand slamming down on the chair arm. The receptionist at the front desk flinched a little, keeping his head down.
"Who." Was all he said as he looked at her, his eyes ablaze. The intensity drifting off of him was stifling, overwhelming almost. She felt a small shiver run down her back.
"Just some girls, I dealt with it." She hummed nonchalantly as she shrugged her shoulder, ignoring the receptionist who looked like he was watching his own private teen drama.
He went to stand up only to be grabbed by her. He seemed to look down at his wrist in alarm, his cheeks lightly blushing before he managed to remain calm.
"I said I dealt with it, can't you be near me for a few moments?" She looked at him, her eyes shimmering in false tears. He seemed to sputter something before he sat back down, his eyes refusing to meet with hers.
"Why don't you want to be near me?" She hummed as she looked at him, her fingers still wrapped around his wrist. His skin was heating up like a furnace. He got like this from one little touch?
"I.... can't control myself." He mumbled as he looked down at his shoes, unwanting to show her his expression. She tutted as she let her eyes close.
"Then don't." That was all she said.

coming out of my cage to post for robstar week (@robxstar) because i recently rewatched teen titans and i love robstar so bad. wasn't feeling very creative and they just helped me write some lil fun self-indulgent things 💖 now i can share with all of you
day 1 - friends to lovers
she's the tear in my heart
It wasn’t long after the completion of the Tower that the roof became their spot.
Robin loved to watch the sunset over the bay and Starfire found freedom in the star speckled sky.
The first few nights, when they were just beginning to understand how to coexist with each other he’d always find her staring up at the sky late into the night. He wondered if she missed being part of the greater universe, flying past galaxies and spinning through the vastness that both terrified and humbled him.
He didn’t have to ask if she was missing home.
There was a deep longing, a sadness that shimmered in the shadows of her eyes, one that even the brightest smile couldn’t chase away.
These days she calls Earth her home and Robin’s never been more thankful to exist in the same place as someone else.
“Hey,” he smiles, finding her knees tucked up to her chest right on the edge where she always is.
“Hi.” She returns the smile, warm and soft and something that is just for him.
It makes his heart beat harder, a traitorous pitter patter he’s long given up the fight to stop. Batman taught him a lot of things, but never how to defeat a hunger that runs so deep that he feels the ache in his bones. How to unwant someone because being with them isn’t something you’re allowed to have.
He takes his place next to her, touching as much as possible; a searing line of heat from shoulder to hip bone.
There’s a steady hum beneath his skin that wants and wants and wants.
It’s late or, really, just very early. Dawn will be breaking over the city soon, their horizon one of the last to see the sun rising in the sky.
“You know,” Starfire says quietly, “it has been a year since we all met.”
Robin knows and not just because they all agreed to celebrate the anniversary of forming the Titans and their friendship. He will never forget that fateful day. As much as he hates to admit it, he was a little lost in the shadow of Batman, needing to set off on his own. New town and a new start.
He wasn't expecting to find his family.
Or the love of his life.
But he keeps that close to his chest; locked up tight with no chance of seeing daylight.
“Best day of my life.” Robin admits.
He can hardly stop himself from admitting deeper truths when Starfire is by his side. She tilts her head, hair falling over her shoulder as she eyes him curiously.
“Okay.” Robin laughs, “maybe best is a weird way to describe it, but I got to meet all of you, and I’m honestly not sure where I would be if we hadn’t.”
Probably in the depths of Slade’s clutches, destroying a city instead of saving it.
“I have also thought about that.” Starfire says, her gaze back on the sky.
A coil white hot and wicked slithers through Robin’s ribcage. He doesn’t have to ask to know what she’s imagining. The Citadel. He’ll never forget the way she said prize as if her agency didn’t matter.
As if Starfire didn’t matter.
A royal princess that paid the ultimate price; sacrificing her freedom for her planet and people. She was starved and restrained, terrified out of her mind because of the horrors that awaited her. It still makes Robin sick to his stomach.
Without thinking he presses closer and Starfire unwinds, letting her legs dangle off the edge of the tower as she takes up the space Robin offers her.
“I do not often have nightmares anymore of what could have been,” she says quietly, “but I suppose on such occasions it is not a surprise.”
Robin takes her hand, the need to touch and comfort too great. Something in his skin settles when her fingers lace between his own.
“You’re safe,” he reminds her. “You’re here, with us, and I won’t ever let anything happen to you.”
“I know.”
Robin can see the depths of green in her eyes, like an old growth forest with flecks of gold. Her gaze is heavy — honest — and Robin’s breath catches in his throat. He’s never known someone to have so much faith in him, despite his flaws and limitations and everything he’s done, Starfire believes in him.
He imagines sliding his hand to cup her cheek, slotting their mouths together like they were made to fit, because Robin knows they were.
 Not yet
Starfire’s knowing smile relieves some of the guilt and ache in his chest. He owes her so much and maybe one day he can return the favor.
“I believe we saved each other that day,” she squeezes his hand, thumb brushing gently over Robin’s skin.
I love you, Robin thinks unbidden.
“Yeah,” he swallows, choking back the swell of emotions, like the waves of a tsunami being sucked back out to sea, “we did.”
The sun catches over the tower, the water shimmering with the promise of a new day.
“If I recall,” Starfire says lightly, “I promised Cyborg that I would help make his famous three layer cake for our celebration today.”
“Starting at dawn?” Robin laughs as they stand up, hands still clasped together.
Starfire starts to say something, but a loud crashing sound from the kitchen answers Robin’s question. It’s followed by a string of curses causing Robin and Starfire to fall into each other laughing.
“Come,” Starfire says as she tugs him towards the door, “I believe Cyborg is in need of rescuing.”
Robin just smiles fondly as she leads him back into the tower, counting down the seconds to when he never has to let go.

My Husband's Name Is Jungkook. (Our Little Wife Au)
Quite literally background story of how Jungkook met his wife
Only two warnings! Pervert! Jungkook and 18-year-old Jungkook 🥵
Jeon Yn, Maiden name Valentine Yn, wedded into the mafia world by taking this guy's last name. Jeon Jungkook.
Remember that name, now.
Yep that's him..anyway.
Yes, Her last name is Valentine as Marshall Valentine. The late honorable sheriff, Marshall, was her daddy.
Mr. Valentine was in a league on his own, shooting & catching bad guys and fighting against life-threatening odds until a pair of big beautiful eyes opened up to him, extending her little hands in the air to her proud teary-eyed papa.
However, tragedy struck on the same day; the beloved Mrs.Valentine passed away during childbirth leaving behind a heartbroken husband and a newborn baby.
Having a sheriff as a father served as no picnic; thankfully enough for him, She wasn't the rebel teenager type, but she was curious, and sometimes that could be just as bad.
In her late teens, She grew into her mother's face; heart-stopping eyes, cute noses, kissable plush lips, and a voice so sweet its teeth rotting. She fits the princess's descriptions. Kindness, Innocence, Beautiful, and...smarts?
Okay, She's not the brightest crayon in the box; she's quite naive, to say the least; her father notices this after this instance
“I'm home!” She kicked off her Mary Jane at the door, her backpack abandoned along side her shoes. Regardless of her father stressing countless how much he nearly trips to his early demise. She cheerfully sat on her father's chair arm. “Hi, Daddy.”
He smiled.“ Hello, Sweetheart!” Mr. Valentine scrambled about the living room, searching for something that seemed not to want to be found. “For Christ's sake, The hell is that damn tie?!”
Her smile faded away. “Nightly parlor duty, again?” A silky black material shimmered out of the corner of her eye. The tie! “I got it. I got it.” She gently removed his helping hands from the tie allowing his princess to aid him.
Mr. Valentine was over the moon for his princess. The difficulty and worry of protecting his angel took a toll on his old body. He's no spring chicken anymore-and. This reality frightened him more than any criminal ever could.
“Daddy? Are you going to be late?” Those soften eyes snapped him out of his depression.
He sniffled. “Don't worry about me, Honeycomb.” He can't fall apart yet..not yet. He pecked her forehead. “How about this, little lamb, dinners on me. Duty calls, Sugafoot.” A quick peck on the forehead once more and out the door.
“Bye.” She whispered in the empty house space.
I will make dinner for when he comes home. Congee (Rice Porridge) sounds good, but do we have the ingredients? She was welcomed to an empty pantry, cabinet, and fridge, but her father's six-pack of beer.
Shopping it is, then. With her father’s credit card, She took her first trip alone, and she did great until the recipe called for beef stock.
What stood in her way of getting the stock?
Tumblr media
Jeon Jungkook, Remember the man from the beginning? Nope, This isn't different, man, by a baby version of her husband. 18 or 19.Jeon Jungkook. The boy was sent to the market to get beef bulgogi, but for some reason, He was aisles from the meat.
She gulped. You and I know there's nothing to be afraid of when it comes to men, but Yn Valentine is petrified of simply being near one. No thanks to her father's scaring her half to death about the opposite sex.
She peeked at him from around the corner. He sure is pretty, Ain't he? He sure is. The boy had a captive audience. Yn spotted another girl arriving to distract him. The perfect opportunity to grab-that-stock.
She stretched onto her tippy toes. Still no dice. “Come on.”
A large hand reached from behind her, terrifying her but proving to be helpful. “Here.”
She took it, bowed, then speeded away.
Ignoring his commands to come back, She hurried to self-checkout and rushed on her way. She sighed, dropping her buckling knees on the sidewalk with her bags at her side.
Daddy never said anything about them being adorable. I mean, I’m not even sure if he was real.
“It's okay; The moment has passed. Now to get back home and cook dinner.” She clenched both her fists in a fighting spirit.
“Do you talk to yourself often?” A deep voice whispered behind her head; she whipped her head to the boy at eye level.
She gasped, falling back on her hands.
His brows jumped. “Are you alright?” He chuckled. If you squint, you can see his pupils change to hearts. “Listen, um-” He glanced into her, one of the bags chalked full of fresh cream puffs. She must love creampuffs. “Creampuff, You dropped this.” Her Powerpuff girl hair clip looked so tiny in the palm of his hand.
“Yes! That's my favorite clip-!”Failing for the bait in the palm of his hand, The boy snapped down on her wrist, yanking her into his chest. “What are you-Let me go! Right now!” She cried, pounding her tiny chubby fist on his chest.
He chuckles. “Settle down, Creampuff. I just want to see you in detail.” The boy's strength astounded Yn struggling against his bulk. Her skirt's fabric raked over the sidewalk's rough texture.
She huffed, looking away from the boy, allowing him to do as he pleased. If that's all, He wants-Anything to get back home fast.
“Good girl.” He was generally praising her, even kind enough to get head pats. The boy's dark eyes roamed Yn’s features, pausing in certain places he found interesting.
“That's a cute mole.”
Mole? The only mole I have is on my- She gasped, covering her cleavage with her free arm.
The boy sucked his teeth at your protest. " I didn't even look that long-"
At that moment, Jungkook's grip loosened enough for you to steal your arm and push him back by his forehead. A perfect window to pick up your bags and flee.
You caught your breath after securing your front door. I think it's safe to say I'll never get used to men.
It wasn't until late December she made another unfortunate encounter with the same damn man, but he looked different like this, like he's been through some stuff, and this is his mindset now
"You again?!" She struggles against his firm grip on her curves. " Let me go! Or I'll scream-mm hp!" Her eyes widen at his large hand, caging her lips shut...He smells..sweet like he just walked out of a bakery.
"So submissive..." He teased, pushing her patients by inching closer to her hidden lips. "Sadly, I like a chall-nge! " Jungkook dropped his hand to cradle his pained abdomen.
"Creep." Her insult was just salt in the wound at this point.
The encounters never creased...but not all of them were-bad.
Jungkook would often be the handyman when her father wasn't there, kept her company on stormy nights, shared his umbrella when it rained, kissed her forehead to wish her goodnight, and even stood beside her at her dear father's funeral.
Her husband, Jeon Jungkook.

Was wondering how Josuke's near-50 days of Stand Fever would be altered to fit the Beaststars AU; gonna be hard having him at a hospital since he'll have to shift at least once. (And that's assuming he's not in beastform 24/7 out of illness-induced stress.) And another thing: (and I totally stole this idea from Wolf Children) would human medicine have an adverse effect on someone who's occasionally a peacat?
w e l l
(I'll be honest I haven't thought too hard about this so all of this is going to be stuff I thought of right now this second)
Josuke would've been sick from roughly November 28th to January 16th, and between that stretch of time there was one full moon, being on December 22nd (since January's full moon wouldn't have been until the 21st)
of course, there is also what you mentioned about how Josuke might be stuck shifting back and forth with somewhat regularity because of the stress and main, and he might even be stuck in his beast form permanently throughout the illness
as such........ Tomoko kinda can't bring him to a hospital
or at least....... not a human one, anyways
now, this is COMPLETELY off the walls of an idea but also at the same time I've done crazier with shakier connection so like....... *makes the teen who saved Josuke a veterinary student*
I KNOW IT'S A STRETCH BUT LISTEN JOSUKE'S NOT GOTTEN A WHOLE LOT OF ATTENTION IN THIS AU SO MIGHT AS WELL
now, Tomoko is desperate. Her son is sick and can't switch back. She can't take him to a human hospital because he's not one right now, so her best (and only) bet is taking him to a veterinary clinic and praying they keep it secret
and the one who treats him is a young college student. There was a huge blizzard so he was the only one in the small, two person clinic at the time, because who in their right mind would be out right now but the owner didn't technically want to close up like this. Maybe he's an intern, maybe he's just gotten the job, but bottom line he's young and inexperienced and wasn't at ALL prepared for a woman to run inside with a bundle of blankets making sounds he can't believe he's hearing
he's never seen or even heard of anything like this. This small creature the size of a house cat that has both fur and feathers and is the brightest green and blue he's ever seen, that has the plumage of a peacock but the paws of a feline
the best word he can think to describe it is griffin, but even still it's not quite right. This animal isn't half something half other thing, it's one solid, beautiful, dying creature
but much to his dismay, there's....... not a lot he can do. He can't find the cause or diagnose the issues, hell he can't even prescribe her many medicines on account of not knowing enough about Josuke's biology. But he does what he can to keep his fever down and keep Josuke hidden
and it's thanks to his efforts Josuke lasts long enough for his fever to break
(and maybe there were some nights that Tomoko didn't notice, where fur and feathers gave way to flesh and hair in short bursts. Maybe the young man heard the faintest calls that sounded a bit too much like "mom" and "help" to be written off as coincidence.
he didn't say anything of course. But maybe some nights, when Tomoko was passed out in a chair, that this young man would comfort Josuke and through the haze of his fever make out a pompadour)

The thing was they actually were not. They were best friends; All best friends love each other, and share things together. And right, maybe where anyone would just share a cake or some vacations, Dan and Phil did share a flat, a job, their personal space, memories, food, a dream and so much more BUT it wasn't such a huge deal, Dan knew it. Except one day, while watching a best friend tag on people's first times doing stuff together, he actually starts to wonder if their friendship is really that typical, after all.
Or, Dan recalls a few of Phil and his not so friendly first times doing things together.

5. bridges & bonfires
summary: you attend the back-to-school bonfire with your friends and wonder if there's more to stefan than meets the eye.
pairings: stefan salvatore x reader
warnings: alcohol, matt being a simp (terrifying)
word count: 2.5k
EVERY YEAR, the back-to-school bonfire took place in the woods, only about half a mile from the waterfalls. And every year, something bad happened. Last year, Theadora Blake was caught cheating on her boyfriend of three years, Christian Suzel. Enraged, Christian picked a fight with the homewrecker, and both boys ended up getting checked into the hospital that night. It turned out fighting and drinking near a fire wasn't the brightest idea.
But new year, new drama.
"Just admit it, Y/N," Bonnie was saying as they stood in the center of the party, each holding a plastic red cup of fruit punch that tasted suspiciously strong. "You think he's drop-dead gorgeous."
You shook your head. "No, it's just that because of you, the title Sexy Back Guy is burned into my brain, and that's all I can think of when I see him."
"So you think he's sexy?"
"What?"
"I never said sexy, I said hot."
"Fine, you got me!" You exclaimed defeatedly,
"Knew it," Bonnie said in a sing-song voice.
You playfully rolled your eyes. "But it's not like I'm professing my love or anything, I just think he's cute. And he has this...romance novel stare."
"Stefan looked deep into her eyes, piercing her very soul," Bonnie said mockingly, and the two of you burst into laughter. "So where is he?"
You shrugged. "You're the psychic one—you tell me."
"Right, okay," Bonne said, playing along. "Give me a sec. Grams says I have to concentrate."
"Wait! You need a crystal ball. Uh..." Your eyes darted around the forest and lit up when you noticed a beer bottle on a nearby table. Smiling, you put down your cup and picked it up, showcasing it to your friend. "Ta da!"
Bonnie grinned, shaking her head with mild disbelief as she reached out to grab it, shutting her eyes. You watched her with a teasing smile, but it quickly vanished when Bonnie's eyes suddenly snapped open and she spaced out, terror-stricken as she snatched her hand away.
"What happened?"
"That was weird," Bonnie said. Frowning, she met your concerned gaze. "When I touched you, I saw a crow."
Oh no.
Your heart skipped a beat. "What did you just say?"
"A crow," She repeated, the deep frown still etched on her face. "There was fog, a man...I'm drunk. It's the drinking, there's nothing psychic about it."
"No, I-I actually think you might be onto something," You said, shaking your head. "Yesterday I was at the cemetery and there was this crow—I think it was the same one that crashed into your car yesterday morning—and it wouldn't go away. Then all this fog started coming so I ran, but when I turned I could've sworn there was a man standing there and..."
Bonnie blinked, not believing her ears. "You're messing with me," She reasoned.
"I'm not," You replied and held out your pinky. "Promise."
Bonnie looked down at your finger and back into your eyes. Your serious eyes. She closed her eyes for a moment, shaking her head out of denial. When she opened them again, she could see you still watching her, your lips stretched into a thin line and an intense crease in your forehead.
"Right," Bonnie breathed out, wide-eyed and appearing to be in a slightly traumatic daze. "Okay, well this is getting weird, I'm gonna go get a refill. Be right back."
"Wait- Bonnie!" You called out to your friend who was already walking away. "Are you-"
"I'm fine!" She called out, not turning around. Soon, she disappeared in the scrummage of intoxicated teens, and you sighed.
Now there you were standing alone at a party. No Bonnie. No Caroline. No Stefan. No one. It felt too painfully similar to where you were just a few months ago, but you hadn't had the luxury to drown in alcohol and pretend your pain didn't exist. Now you did.
So as you gulped your spiked punch carelessly, you turned around to find yourself face to face with Stefan, who casually muttered "Hi." You nearly splurt your drink. You quickly swallowed it before it spilled out of your mouth, but the coughing fit had begun.
Stefan pat you on the back. When you finally recovered, you looked up to see him resisting his laughter, differing from his previously concerned reaction.
"Hi," You said blandly, trying to sound upset, but couldn't quite fight the smile growing on your face.
"I did it again, didn't I?"
"If by it you mean standing there like a stalker and totally scaring the shit out of me, then yes."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be," You said dismissively with a soft chuckle.
He nodded, but his grin was quickly replaced with a frown as he surveyed your face. "You're upset about something," He observed.
"What are you, an FBI profiler?"
"Only when I have to be."
You snickered, shaking your head. "I'm glad you could make it."
"Me too," He said, showing off his lustrous eyes to match his smile. They stood there for a brief moment in a comfortable silence that was disrupted by a peer bumping into you. The drink spilled out of your cup. You jumped back before the punch hit you and glared at the boy who collided with you, but he was too occupied with his disastrous dance moves to care, likely not even hearing the swear you shouted at him.
"Do you wanna maybe go somewhere private?" Stefan asked.
"That depends. Are you going to murder me with an axe and then dump my body in the woods?"
Stefan cocked his head to the side, pretending to ponder on the subject. "Well I wouldn't use an axe."
"Alright but just so you know, I have pepper spray on me." Which wasn't a lie. He laughed and nodded.
The further you and Stefan moved from the party, the more peaceful it became. But when they reached the bridge, your breath hitched in your throat. Your mouth dried like sandpaper. Stefan quickly realized the tension in your body and reluctance to pass. He carefully grabbed your hand and gave it a gentle squeeze.
You looked at him and smiled gratefully before taking a deep breath and starting to cross. With each step, you got the terrifying feeling that the ground beneath your feet would crumble and you'd plummet into the icy lake. So to get your mind off of the overwhelming fear, you did what you did best—you talked.
"You know you're the talk of the town?"
"I am?" Stefan asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah," You continued. "I mean believe it or not, mysterious, brooding bad boys in leather moving to a small town like this—presumably to get a fresh start from his bad past that he never speaks about—tends to capture a lot of people's attention."
"Well I can't be the only one."
"What do you mean?"
"Well you're mysterious, brooding, you look like you also have a bad past and you tend to wear a lot of leather," He explained. You looked down at your leather jacket. "You're also, um...twinged in sadness."
"Okay first of all that's different because while my past is dark, it's no secret," You pointed out. At least some of it is no secret. "Second, how am I twinged in sadness? I'm a happy person! Do you know how many times I smiled today?"
"Yeah but how many of those smiles were real?"
Your smile faded. Had you really been that easy to see through? "Yeah I guess you're right. But after your parents dive off a bridge with you in the backseat, recovery isn't exactly easy."
"It never is," Stefan replied. You stopped, facing each other. He placed his beer bottle on the bridge parapet and reached for your hands. "You won't be sad forever, Y/N."
You glanced at his hands intertwined with yours. Stefan was...sweet. Aside from Matt, you'd never met a boy as sweet as him. His mere presence was so soothing. You cleared your throat. "You know, I believe in balance."
"Really?
"Mhm. For every loss, there's a gain. Things can't always be just good but they can't all be bad either. It's just important to recognize that nothing in life, including situations and...feelings, are permanent."
"I like that," He remarked, releasing one of your hands to grab his bottle and raise it." To balance."
"To balance," You repeated energetically, lifting your own cup. You clinked their drinks together and grinned. "Cheers."
As you drank, you stepped off the bridge, your heart rate elevating slightly as you did so. Stefan followed you. He lowered his bottle, and you narrowed your eyes at him, wondering if the lighting was somehow playing tricks on you.
"Are you okay?" You asked, stepping forward to get a better look. Black veins protruded around his eyes. It looked like...well, it looked kind of like Ryder, except more tame. But you couldn't get afraid. Maybe you were overthinking this. It was dark. You weren't seeing things clearly. There wasn't...there couldn't be. Not in Mystic Falls.
"Yeah, why?"
"Uh, maybe I'm a little tired but I swear it looks like your eyes are doing this freaky thing and it.." You shook your head. "I don't know."
"Oh, um..." He looked away, letting go of your hand to rub his eyes. "Yeah, it's nothing. Are you thirsty? I'm gonna go get us more drinks."
Before he even finished talking, he was rushing away. Anxiety practically radiated off of him. He was clearly lying. But you weren't just confused...you were worried.
What if he was sick and needed help? What if he was on some kind of strange drugs that induced darkened eyes and changed blood color? It could be a number of things...you couldn't go immediately to...Ryder's kind.
A few minutes passed and Stefan still hadn't returned. You didn't want to stay in the woods, especially by yourself, so you decided to head back. You walked over the bridge with heedful steps. When you finally crossed, it felt like an hour went by. And for a moment, you worried that Stefan just absentmindedly left you standing alone on a creaky bridge with no intention of coming back, assuming he didn't have anything wrong with him.
What if he really is on drugs? You thought as you joined your peers, searching for Bonnie or Caroline or anyone you knew really. Even running into Jeremy or Tyler Lockwood would give you something to do. You couldn't believe it—all these students in one place, and not a single one you actually knew?
"Looking for someone?" Matt's voice called out to her. Okay...so maybe not anyone you knew. You looked around for a respectful way to escape, but by the time he reached her, there was nothing you could do but sigh. "Hey."
You forced a smile. "Hey."
"Can we talk?"
I don't think that's a good idea. "Um...sure."
"When you broke up with me," He began and you winced. Oh shit, here we go. "You said it was because you needed some time alone. You don't look so alone to me."
You took a deep breath. "Matt...ever since I got back, I've tried reaching out to you, and all you've done is ignore me. But because I'm friends with the new kid, now I'm a priority?"
"Look, Y/N, I'm not here to fight you."
"Then why are you here?"
"I just want you to know that...no matter who comes along, I still believe in us. And I'm not giving up on that."
"What if I am?" You asked. You could see the confusion in his eyes and sighed. The last thing you wanted to do was hurt him, but you needed to tell him the hard truth, something you'd failed to do before.
"Matt, we're...we're not a good fit," You confessed. "You're a great guy, but...I'm not in love with you. I don't think I ever was, I just...I don't know, you were the only guy to see me. And everyone wanted us to be together and it seemed like the right thing to do.
But when everything happened, you were so loyal, even though I could see my distance was tearing you apart. I realized that I wasn't being fair to you but I was too...I didn't want to admit it. Because you deserve so much better than me, and I knew the moment I accepted that, we were done for good. I'm sorry."
Seeing the light dim in his eyes was brutal. You hated hurting him...he'd always been so kind to you. But he ignored every flaw you had to keep the relationship, and it had been killing you both. You had been too afraid to let him go because you loved him so much. But your love was selfish and destructive. He deserved love that was as generous and peaceful as him. And you deserved to grow and become someone you were proud of. Someone your parents would be proud of. You'd made many mistakes, and you'd hurt nearly every person you were close with, but this was your time to make amends.
Matt smiled, but it didn't meet his eyes. "It's okay. I'm glad we could be honest with each other. I'll, um...see you around."
You watched him go...wanting to reach for his arm and comfort him, but you knew that would do him no good. If you'd been honest before, he wouldn't be in so much pain right now.
To think there were more secrets....but if he knew what you did, he wouldn't even look at her. Maybe you should tell him. But if you told him, he'd tell Bonnie and Caroline. But didn't he deserve to know? Didn't he deserve to know that the girl he was pining over was a monster? Would that help the healing process? To cement in his mind that you weren't worth the trouble or grief?
You turned around to see Stefan approaching you and smiled warmly, but all traces of joy were vanquished as you heard a bottle smash into pieces. Your head whipped in the direction of the noise. Far off, an intoxicated Jeremy staggered into the woods.
"You have got to be kidding me," You muttered, shaking your head and already starting to follow him.
"What is it?"
"My brother is a junkie," You said under your breath. You didn't like the idea of him coming to a high school party and getting drunk or high like you did. This coping mechanism would do more harm than good.
You'd failed to protect him when your parents died. But it was a new year, new you. So you set out to make things right and go after him. If only you knew what was waiting for you in those woods.
